At just fifteen years old, Adie Dove founded KBSK. Growing up on a council estate, she quickly realised that the arts were not accessible to every child. Despite her family's financial struggles, Adie was determined to pursue her dreams. When she received an opportunity to further her dance training, she became inspired and committed to give back to other children facing similar challenges.

This commitment has always been the guiding ethos and vision of KBSK, with a focus of empowering young people to lead, breaking down barriers, and creating secure environments for every young person to thrive.

Throughout the years, KBSK has become a safe space for hundreds of children and families. Despite the expansion of KBSK’S services and team, our ethos remains the same. Based in Bodmin, Cornwall, an area marked by high deprivation and very limited opportunities for youth, KBSK actively identifies gaps in provision and quickly addresses them. Our ongoing mission is to be a vital preventative force, guiding young individuals toward positive choices. We achieve this by offering positive role models, equal opportunities, and a safe space for self expression.

As an organisation, KBSKS recognises that supporting young people means providing comprehensive support for entire family units. KBSK’S experienced team are dedicated to assisting families in crisis, whether related to the cost of living, domestic violence, mental health, or addiction. We work openly and transparently with families and statutory services to ensure the safety and well-being of every child, helping them reach their full potential.
