The Academy
Objective: To nurture the exceptional talent of a select cohort of young people in dance and the performing arts. Provide further training and to prepare them for auditions at prestigious dance schools across the UK.
Even today, access to the arts remains impossible for many working class families. The Academy aims to address this disparity by offering support to young people who demonstrate a passion, drive and the talent to pursue further education in the arts.

Securing a place into dance universities and conservatories often involves rigorous audition processes. Without the adequate training beforehand, the chances of securing a place in further education is slim. Given the considerable expenses associated with dance training, which can run into the thousands, the KBSK Academy endeavours to level the playing field by offering accessible high-quality performing arts training and audition preparation.

Our Academy program is dedicated to empowering young, aspiring artists to unlock their full potential. To date, we are proud to report a 100% success rate in securing funded placements for our students to pursue further education in the arts.
